Stylist, Joyce Blake........Master Barber, Jim O'Sullivan(Sully). 

Sully's Barber-Stylist Shop came to Hartfield, Va. August 6, 1996. Stylist, Joyce Blake joined  the business as an independant contractor in 1998.

I am married to Sue, and we have three children, and seven grandchildren. Both Sue and I are from Polk County, North Carolina (Near Ashville).

We grew up together in the small community of Mill Spring, NC. We were married in 1966, while I was serving in the Air Force, and stationed at Bolling AFB, Washington D.C.

I earned my Master Barber Certificate in 1967, and was licensed in Maryland, while I was stationed at Bolling AFB.

Sue and I chose to continue on in the Military as a career of choice for myself, and Sue would stay home and rear our three children. Sue did a wonderful job with rearing our children. In 1986 Sue set out on her second career.
She is now Director Of Sales for the Hampton Inns in Williamsburg, VA.

I served our wonderful nation from: 1961-65 US Navy, (BM-3); 1965-74 US Air force, (TSgt); and 1974-84 US Army, (CWO-3).

I retired from the Army in October of '84 and took a position as Captain with the Jamestown-Scotland Ferry at Jamestown, Va. and served in that capacity until November 6, 1994.
